since we moved into our first home in may 2009, we have been busy trying to paint, sand, unpack, and organize our living space. it is an ongoing process and our minds are racing a mile a minute with visions of what chair to put in the corner, what picture to hang on which wall, etc; but with one salary (until anton completes school), we’re trying to pace ourselves and be oh-so-budget-conscious.

the outdoor patio has gone through several before and afters in just a few weeks time. enjoy the transformation.
before: the patio space was unfinished and was a bed for pine needles, snakes, and spiders (minus our humble attempt to grow some begonias)
after: the pavers are still settling….we’re waiting for the end of season sales to outfit this space with some patio gear.
